The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (NHSR&C) has announced exceptional job opportunities for qualified candidates under the Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) project at the National Institute of Health (NIH). These roles offer a unique chance to contribute to Pakistan’s public health initiatives through the Public Health Laboratory Network (PHLN) and the Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program (FELTP).

Job Opportunities at NIH

The NIH is seeking applications for several contract-based positions under the IDSR project. These roles, offered for one year (extendable based on performance and project needs), allow candidates to work on critical public health programs such as PHLN and FELTP.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation of 5 years applies as per government rules.
  • Government Employees: Applicants currently employed in government organizations must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
  • Mandatory Resignation: Selected candidates from government organizations must resign from their current positions before joining.
  • Eligibility Verification: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests or interviews. Applicants must bring original documents for verification during the interview.

 

Important Terms and Conditions

  1. Contractual Nature: Positions are purely contract-based, extendable based on performance and project needs.
  2. No TA/DA: Travel and accommodation allowances will not be provided for tests or interviews.
  3. Declaration: Selected candidates must sign an affidavit stating they will not seek regularization at any point.
