Saudi Arabia To Build World’s Tallest Skyscraper (The Mukaab) In Riyadh By 2030: Taller Than 20 Empire State Buildings

Saudi Arabia is making headlines yet again with an audacious new project: a skyscraper in Riyadh that will stand taller than 20 Empire State Buildings. With a vision for the future and a determination to reshape its urban landscape, the Kingdom is gearing up to construct one of the world’s most colossal structures, marking another step in its ambitious plan to transform the nation’s economy and global standing. Slated for completion by 2030, this mega-tower is set to define a new era of architectural and economic prominence for Saudi Arabia.

Height of the skyscraper

The proposed skyscraper, expected to dwarf any existing building, will become the centerpiece of Riyadh’s skyline. While the precise height is yet to be revealed, the fact that it will be taller than 20 Empire State Buildings (which stand at 1,454 feet each) suggests a height exceeding 29,000 feet, making it the tallest structure ever conceived.

Vision 2030: Reshaping Saudi Arabia’s Urban Landscape

This towering project is part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 initiative, launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Vision 2030 aims to reduce the Kingdom’s dependence on oil by diversifying its economy, with a strong focus on tourism, technology, and urban development. Central to this vision are several megaprojects that aim to turn Saudi Arabia into a global hub for trade, tourism, and innovation.

Riyadh, the capital city, is at the heart of this transformation. The city is undergoing massive development, with plans to become a global metropolis known for its futuristic architecture, green spaces, and sustainable living. The construction of this skyscraper fits seamlessly into this vision, positioning Riyadh as a city of the future and an economic powerhouse.
